Dear Friends,

On our final run to xmas sales, I wanted to share with you the lastest news about our wines and about our team.

2023 has been a challenging year in terms of production (you will find out about it in Laurent Prada’s harvest report), in terms of sales with the supply issues in dry goods we experienced in the first semester, and also in demand, where we saw a lot of our partners adjusting their inventories to compensate the surge in interest rates.

Despite all of this, 2023 has been the first full year of reopening for our customers at Château Magnol. We welcomed more than 500 guests and served 2500 lunches and dinners prepared by our Chef Yann and entertained by Omar our Star Sommelier.

Omar BARBOSA just won the competition of Best Sommelier of Bordeaux Wines last week and being already twice Best sommelier of Mexico, Omar is now preparing the Master of Wine Diploma.

In addition, for the first time we were able to set up a couple of B&G Workshops (Europe and the Caribbean) at Château Magnol. Sharing best practices, brainstorming on how to better perform with our brand, we have already been able to see some good sales results.

On the Corporate Social Responsibility aspects, we target our certification for 2024. Many improvements in terms of sustainable development and energy saving have been carried out and a first detailed report will be published soon.

In the meantime, we are already preparing a busy start of the year (see our agenda) with Vinexpo Paris and Prowein only 3 weeks apart, followed by the Summit of the Americas (IAADFS) in April and Vinexpo Asia in Hong Kong in May. Many occasions to taste our new wines and vintages.

At 2 years of our 300th anniversary ;-), we remain more than ever committed to innovation and bringing you the best possible wines!

À votre santé !
